During the Swedish Wars, the Swedes conquered some fine tapestries, that Danish King Frederik II had made for his throne room at Kronborg Castle. Ther tapstries are now back in Kronborg, where No Parking has made an AV installation that tells their story.
The installation consists of a touch-screen that can display a video, which is accompanied by spot lighting on the tapestries. The video shows close-ups from the tapestry patterns. The audio consists of renaissance music and speak, which is transmitted to the audience by directional speakers.
No Parking developed the script for the stories i cooperation with the museum, and has worked with lighting designers from the company Bico, to create a sensual installation with light and sound.
